When I've thought about writing during the past few weeks, it seems that there's very little to put in here. Now that I'm actually sitting down to do it, there are things I want to say. I'm not sure how to make it all flow. Anyway...
I'll start with my goals because I like structure. I've made progress on all, but nowhere near perfect. I did slip up and buy one thing-lime green eyeshadow-but all-in-all, not a complete f*up as I can do. Everything else is as planned.
In other news, my new license came in the mail last weekend. It was only five days after I took the exam. What a load off my chest!
And...I am taking a cycling class while using cycling crap. (sort of aside: I made a promise to myself many years ago that I would never wear bike sorts. However, I've found that although they look ridiculous, they serve a purpose. I've made a compromise: a skirt over my capris. Only mildly dorky. )
I'm contemplating a ride that crosses my home state the long way, so I'll need to get my ass in gear. Currently, my rides are about two hours long. I have to say that cycling is much more fun than riding. A marathon on a bike is not bad. Once the real running marathon is over, I'll have more time to ride the bike. That will be in two weeks if I make it out unscathed.
Here's a photo from my backyard one morning:

Thus, starting my gratitude list: clotheslines, sun, nature, water, air, and life.
